Every so often you meet a version of yourself in a daydream and immediately look away. She says what she means. She leaves when it is time to leave. She lets herself be loved without auditioning for it. You look away because she is one honest season away, and that proximity is the terrifying part. Whatever you bury in Scorpio's dark does not stay buried; it grows.

Scorpio Does Not Accept Polite Answers

Scorpio is the sign of depth, intimacy, and transformation, the part of you that knows surface answers are a waste of a perfectly good life. Other new moons ask what you want. This one asks who you are becoming, and the intention it wants is a molting: letting an old skin go so the truer one underneath can breathe.

Scorpio's tarot card is Death, and the pairing is exact. Death here is the honest name for what has already ended, not a catastrophe.
