Moon Calendar 2026-2027: Every New Moon, Full Moon and Eclipse (and What to Ask the Cards)

This page lists every new moon, full moon, and eclipse from July 2026 through December 2027, with the sign each one falls in and a link to the guide I wrote for that exact moon. Find the next date, click through, and have your question ready before the moon peaks.

Timing matters because the same question opens two different doors depending on the moon. I check where the moon is before every reading I do, and the pattern holds: new moon readings reach forward, full moon readings pull the truth up out of the dark. The 2026 Moon Calendar, July Through December

The second half of 2026 opens with an intense eclipse season in August. If you only circle two dates this year, circle those.

The 2027 Moon Calendar

New Moon or Full Moon: Which Question Belongs Where

The rule is simple. New moon for what you want to grow, full moon for what you need to see.

The new moon is the dark of the month. Nothing is visible yet, so everything is possible, and that is exactly when questions about beginnings land best. Ask the cards what you are ready to invite into your love life, what seed is quietly taking root between you and him, where your heart's energy should go this month. Ask forward, not backward. A new moon reading that spends all its energy on an ex is a seed planted in old soil, and I say that as someone who has watched a lot of clients try.

The full moon is the opposite: everything is lit, including the things someone hoped you would not notice. This is the moon of revelations and release.
